The lectures will focus on the economic theory of networks and its numerous applications and will extensively use illustrative case studies and laboratory experiments. For the second part of the course, the concepts previously discussed will be used to analyze topics related to network analysis in development economics: including risk sharing, optimal targeting of information, and incentive design in teams.
