Course Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:

• Understand how motion of gases changes thermodynamic properties
• Determine flow properties upstream and downstream of normal shock waves
• Calculate lift and drag on a supersonic airfoil
• Determine flow properties in a shock tube
• Understand how nozzles work and determine supersonic 

Requirements: Bachelor in Engineering
